Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. Overview
VoxBurst is designed for legitimate social media publishing, automation, and AI-assisted content workflows. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines what you may and may not do when using the Service. It applies to all users, workspaces, and API integrations.
Violations of this policy may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account without notice. This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. The prohibited uses listed in this policy are illustrative and non-exhaustive. VoxBurst reserves the right to determine, in its reasonable discretion, that conduct not specifically listed nonetheless violates the spirit of this policy.
2. Prohibited content
You may not use VoxBurst to create, store, or distribute any of the following (this list is non-exhaustive):
- Content that is illegal under applicable law, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), content that incites violence, or material that violates intellectual property rights
- Fraudulent or deceptive content, including impersonation of individuals or organizations, false advertising, affiliate link cloaking, or phishing campaigns
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that targets individuals based on protected characteristics
- Malware, ransomware, or any code designed to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems
- Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) or content that sexualizes minors
- Content that violates the content policies of any connected social platform
- Unsolicited commercial messaging (spam) distributed at scale
- Content used to perform biometric categorisation of individuals to infer race, political opinions, trade union membership, religious or philosophical beliefs, or sexual orientation
- Content used for social scoring — evaluating or classifying individuals based on social behaviour or personal characteristics in a way that leads to detrimental treatment
- Content that impersonates a living artist's distinctive style in a misleading way that could create false attribution or infringe publicity rights
- SEO manipulation schemes, engagement-pod coordination, or link manipulation designed to artificially inflate search rankings or social signals
- Content promoting the sale of regulated goods (firearms, cannabis, prescription drugs, gambling) without the applicable licences required in your jurisdiction
3. Prohibited automation
You may not use VoxBurst's automation features to:
- Operate bot farms, fake account networks, or coordinated inauthentic behavior campaigns
- Execute follow/unfollow schemes, like farms, or view-count manipulation
- Circumvent rate limits imposed by VoxBurst or connected social platforms
- Send mass unsolicited direct messages not permitted by platform rules
- Artificially inflate engagement metrics on behalf of yourself or third parties
- Operate more accounts than permitted by the connected platform's developer policies
- Scrape or harvest user data from connected platforms in ways that violate those platforms' terms
- Engage in affiliate link cloaking, URL manipulation schemes, or coordinated engagement behaviour designed to artificially inflate reach or deceive platform recommendation algorithms
4. Platform compliance
VoxBurst connects to third-party social platforms via their official APIs. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of VoxBurst complies with the terms of service, API policies, and automation rules of every platform you connect. VoxBurst is not responsible for suspensions, bans, or enforcement actions taken by those platforms.
If a connected platform changes its policies in a way that restricts certain VoxBurst features, those features may be disabled without notice.
5. AI-generated content
VoxBurst provides AI tools for content generation and media creation. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing. You may not use AI features to:
- Create deepfakes or synthetic media designed to deceive or defame a real person
- Conduct coordinated misinformation or disinformation campaigns
- Impersonate public figures, celebrities, or private individuals in misleading ways
- Generate synthetic child sexual abuse material or any exploitative content
- Produce content designed to manipulate elections or public opinion through deceptive means
- Attempt to extract, replicate, or reverse-engineer the weights, architectures, training data, or safety guardrails of any AI model accessible through the Service
- Represent AI-generated content as human-made in a context where that distinction is material to the audience, such as journalism, academic work, or professional advice
- Generate images that deliberately replicate the distinct artistic style of a living artist in a manner designed to mislead consumers about the source or that could constitute passing off or a violation of that artist's rights under applicable law
Where a connected social platform requires AI-generated content to be labelled (for example, Meta's AI content label or TikTok's AI-generated content toggle), you are responsible for applying that label before publishing. VoxBurst will support platform-native labelling mechanisms where technically available.
6. Security restrictions
You may not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any associated systems without explicit written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or infrastructure not belonging to you
- Distribute malicious code, scripts, or exploits via VoxBurst workflows or webhooks
- Overload or deliberately degrade Service performance for other users through excessive API calls or denial-of-service techniques
- Share, sell, or transfer API keys or account credentials to unauthorized parties
If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly by contacting us before disclosing publicly. See our Security page for our responsible disclosure process.
7. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for all content published, all automation behavior executed, and all API activity initiated under your workspace. If you allow team members or third-party integrations to access your workspace, you are responsible for their compliance with this policy.
8. Enforcement
VoxBurst reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this policy. We may, without advance notice:
- Remove or disable content that violates this policy
- Restrict or suspend specific features
- Suspend or permanently terminate your account
- Revoke API access
- Report violations to law enforcement or affected platforms
We may restore access if a violation was inadvertent and promptly corrected. To appeal an enforcement action, submit a request through our contact page. Appeals submitted through our contact page will receive an initial response within 10 business days.
9. Sanctions and export controls
You may not use the Service if you are located in, incorporated in, or operating on behalf of any person or entity subject to comprehensive trade sanctions administered by the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the European Union, or the United Kingdom. You represent and warrant that you are not named on any US, EU, or UK sanctions list. VoxBurst reserves the right to immediately suspend accounts where sanctions compliance concerns are identified.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves or as legal requirements change. We will provide notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
